Sue and Jim

ABOUT US

Sue and Jim live in Western New York have played music together for over 20 years, bringing a love of Celtic music and exciting instrumentation to their audiences.  You will hear Sue on fiddle, whistle, and vocals and Jim on guitar, bouzouki, cittern, whistle, and vocals

Hailed as the "Celtic standard bearers of Chautauqua County" they are regular performers at their home festival, The Jamestown Regional Celtic Festival. They have performed at the Ligonier Highland games, the Ohio Scottish Games, the 2023 and 2026 Mayville Bluegrass festival, the Fredonia Free For All, the folk in Fredonia concert series, the Reg Lenna Civic Center holiday family Christmas concert, The WRFA Back Room Radio Hour, Chautauqua Sunrise, the Local WRFA Arts on Fire program, and the 2026 Jamestown Scandinavian Festival.  They have been feature performers at the 2025 and 2026 Chautauqua Institution Roads Scholar programs.  They have played house concerts, weddings, wineries, museums, contra dances, and Celtic church services.          

They perform regularly with Sue's youth fiddle band, the Bonnie Loch Fiddlers and the Bonnie Loch Fiddle Orchestra.
