Sue and Jim

ABOUT US

Sue and Jim live in Western New York have played music together for many years, bringing a love of Celtic music and exciting instrumentation to their audiences.  You will hear Sue on fiddle, whistle, and vocals and Jim on guitar, bouzouki, cittern, whistle, and vocals

Hailed as the "Celtic standard bearers of Chautauqua County" they are regular performers at the Jamestown Regional Celtic Festival, The Ligonier Highland games and the Fredonia Free For All. They have played house concerts, weddings, wineries, museums, and a Celtic church service.  A highlight experience was performing at the Historic Fredonia Opera House as part of their Folk in Fredonia Music Series. They also performed at The Reg Lenna Civic Center for the 1st Annual Holiday Family Christmas concert. They have been featured guests at the local WRFA Back Room Radio Hour, a local TV show called Chautauqua Sunrise and the local WRFA Arts on Fire program.  They are looking forward to playing at the 2023 Mayville Bluegrass Festival. Their favorite venue is the House concert and they plan to include more in the near future.

They perform regularly with Sue's youth fiddle band, the Bonnie Loch Fiddlers.
